WHAT IS SUNEKOS ?

Sunekos is the new gold standard to treat and prevent skin ageing and elastosis. Winner of the Safety in Beauty Innovation and Pioneering award 2019, the treatment contains a patented formula of amino acids and Hyaluronic Acid which stimulates collagen and elastin production and allows Extra Cellular Matrix regeneration to occur. This process, known as dermal biogenesis, restores skin elasticity and the natural volume of the skin, giving a more vibrant and youthful appearance. How does Sunekos work?

Whilst greatly hydrating and plumping the skin, clinical trials have demonstrated that Hyaluronic Acid can activate bio-revitalisation from within the skin, resulting in plumper, firmer, smoother, and more youthful-looking skin. Sunekos combines this HA with a unique blend of amino acids designed to stimulate the Extra Cellular Matrix (ECM) fibroblasts. This then restores and rebuilds the dermis – the living layer of the skin.

What parts of the body can benefit from Sunekos?

A very versatile treatment, Sunekos can be used on various parts of the body, including the face, neck, décolleté, arms, hands, inner thighs, and knees. Sunekos® 200 has been shown to be particularly effective in the periocular area, reducing the appearance of dark circles and bags under the eyes, as well as the forehead area. What can I expect?

Sunekos treatments take around 30 minutes to complete, and whilst not painful, you may experience some very mild discomfort. Recovery time after the procedure is usually swift and there’s likely to be very little evidence that procedure has been carried out. With Sunekos, the skin is often recovered within just a few hours. As with all injectable treatments, there exists a mild risk of swelling and bruising at the injection site.

You can resume your usual activities at once for most activities. However, we recommend avoiding swimming for 48 hours and extreme temperatures for up to days. You should also avoid massaging the treated area for 24 hours. We will provide full aftercare instructions prior to the treatment.

How many sessions will I need?

Sunekos is a four-part treatment, with each session scheduled 7 to 10 days apart. Whilst it’s common to see improvements after the first session, each of the sessions is an important part of the treatment plan and required for the treatment to be effective. You may notice changes immediately following your first injection; however, the best results will be seen after your fourth session is complete.

How long will the results last?

How long the results of Sunekos last largely depends on the individual patient, their lifestyle, and the level of correction their skin requires. However, in many cases, results last for up to six months. The procedure can then we repeated if desired. Maintenance treatment is suggested at four to seven months intervals post treatment.
